for several of the UK’s largest professional firms.
Anyone advertising themselves as an “expert” is exposed to liabilities if they fail to exercise the reasonable skill and care of a competent member of their industry or profession. These professional liabilities are what are covered under a Professional Indemnity Insurance policy.
The insurance market for PI insurance is fairly specialised, with many of the likely insurers not being household names.
This does not mean they are not valid potential markets and it is our access to a wide range of insurers that enables us to ensure we obtain competitive terms for our clients.
In certain cases, we even have exclusive access to the insurer and can therefore negotiate terms that are generally not available to other brokers in the United Kingdom.
